Did you know that Spain is today the largest European exporter of subtropical fruits? And that these crops are concentrated mostly in Granada’s Tropical Coast?

That being said, just imagine the scene: beachfront bar, blue sky, nice people around and (now, please close your eyes) a truly colourful and delicious salad made with a selection of freshly handpicked tropical fruits (one by one), as mango, cherimoya and avocado, among others.

This culinary experience is one of my highlights when visiting Granada’s Tropical Coast, apart from enjoying fresh-off-the-boat grilled, broiled, steamed or fried fish and seafood.
