This might sound a bit strange, but I believe that Sevilla showcases almost every single cliché that people from abroad imagine when they think about Spain: Flamenco dancing, colourful tiled walls in traditional taverns, Iberian hams hanging from the ceiling in bars, cobbled alleys and pretty flowerpots in balconies.

But Sevilla is much more than all these localisms, and THAT is what makes this city so attractive: the magical connection between tradition and state-of-the-art facilities, between heritage and avant-garde transport links, between small flowery patios and ultramodern bridges, and between ancient legends and ultimate modernity.
